Ghost Ranch has a variety of family-friendly, rustic lodging options: rooms with private bathrooms, pairs of adjacent rooms that share a bathroom, and dormitory rooms that utilize a common bathroom. The rooms are all modestly appointed and each is unique in terms of bed configuration, but do take note that only a few bathrooms have bath tubs (looking at you, parents of little kids). While none of the rooms have air conditioning, highs for August/September in the area are generally in the 70s to the mid 80s. Ghost Ranch also has a campground with tent and RV sites, where we will be staying in our by-then-newly-renovated trailer Long Teal Sally. We would love for you to stay on site as well, but, like we said, rooms are rustic (yet lovely)! Though we expect that very little time will be spent hanging out in your room when there is so much to do in such a gorgeous desert, if you would like nicer digs, see other options below.
Rates are as follows:
Private Rooms with Private Bathrooms: $155/night*
Semi-Private Rooms sharing a Bathroom with one other room: $145/night per room*
Dorm Rooms with Shared Baths: $95/night (most rooms sleep just 2, so you still have privacy)
Camp Sites with Electricity: $45/night
Tent Sites: $35/night
There is also a $5/person one-time “Conservation Fee” for all overnight guests.
*Rooms with private bathrooms are limited, so we ask that, if you’re young, don’t have kids, and you don’t mind, please stay in a dorm room or a semi-private. You can pretend you’re in college again. Since we will be making room assignments, we will make sure that if you do have to share a bathroom or a room, it will be with a friend.
Pets
Also worth noting: pets are only allowed in RV sites in the campground – if you plan to stay in any of the other rooms or tent sites, unfortunately your pet(s) will not be allowed.
To Reserve Lodging
Because the venue is not accustomed to hosting groups of our size, they have asked us to handle the room assignments. On our RSVP page, we ask that you let us know if you’d like lodging on-site, and what kind you’d prefer. There are no more private rooms available, but there are semi-private (sharing a bath with one other room) as well as dorm rooms. Please let us know if you still plan to come!
Other Lodging Options
Like we said, on-site lodging is rustic. We realize that some people may prefer some nicer digs – and that’s totally fine! The Abiquiu Inn is just about 15 minutes down the road, and they have some beautiful rooms, cottages, and casitas that will feel much more luxe, and can sleep from 2 to 6 people. They have a really great cafe there, and they are also dog-friendly! Because that is a holiday weekend, we cannot get a group discount, but they do give AARP and AAA discounts. If you plan to stay at Abiquiu Inn, they recommend you book ASAP as they expect rooms to fill up quickly.

You can also check out Old Abiquiu B and B, as well as Casita de Chuparosa, both bed and breakfasts in the Abiquiu area.
Beyond that, famed mineral springs resort Ojo Caliente is about a 45 minute drive from Ghost Ranch, and there are a plethora of amazing hotels in Santa Fe, about an hour drive from Ghost Ranch.
